Thomas 2002 Jaguar XKR

 

I recently bought a 2002 Jaguar XKR from Larry Bonet. I have bought several cars online and

most were good experiences. Dealing with Larry was a good experience. I found him to be

accommodating without being pushy. The car was a low mileage, one-owner vehicle, which

appealed to me. What was not so appealing was the lack of service records on the car. Larry

made an honest effort to track them down with the original owner but was unsuccessful. This

made the already important inspection of the car more critical. I located a Jaguar repair facility

and contacted them about doing the inspection. The owner, Bryan, had not worked with Larry

before but knew of him and spoke very highly of him. After inspecting the car he found three

minor flaws, the most serious one, the remote mirror switch was already being addressed by

Larry's mechanics. Bryan said unequivocally buy this car, it is impeccable. I made Larry an

offer and asked him to remove the ugly license plate frame from the front bumper. Larry not

only removed the frame but filled in the two holes for the mounting screws and painted over

them. I had a transport company ship the car up to South Carolina. The car was everything

Larry said it was and more. The driver told me he worked with a lot of car dealers and was

impressed with Larry. "He's a good guy." That about says it all. I would definitely work with

Working with Unique and Larry was an absolute pleasure - here's the backstory: My wife and our 2 big galoots (180lbs of dogs) drive everywhere together...she had 3 VW bug convertibles, and we were looking for a 4th, and was having a hard time finding anything decent on line.....While searching, she stumbled across a low mile Volvo C70 at Unique.....I've had Volvo SUVs for years, and have been very happy.....so even though it was actually older than her bug, we started looking at Volvos.....after shopping around nationally on line - Unique's deal was far and away the best. Began working with Larry via text and over the phone - was an absolute pleasure - gave him a wire deposit, described our trade, and made the 250 mile drive..... Upon arriving at Unique and looking at the car - it was even better than described - and Larry was so fair....he looked at our trade and said, "I think you undersold this car, it's not as bad as you said"...and gave us a couple bucks more than we had discussed, The paperwork was painless, it's been almost a week and everybody loves the new (to us) car!!! I was looking at a car that I was very interested in, but I was on the fence because I was 250 miles away and could not easily come to take a look or test drive it on a random day of the week. I called and let him know my situation and he went out of his way to take an 8-minute long detailed video of all the parts of the car in working condition. That alone already made me feel better about the entire car-buying process. After a lot of back and forth conversations with Larry, I finally made the decision to go see the car. Found the car we were looking for at a reasonable price. No fancy showroom with balloons and popcorn machines driving up the price. 2006 AUDI TT

My wife and I have owned some 40 cars over the years,but never a real sports car ..... until I met Larry @ Unique Sport & Imports in Sarasota,Florida 🌴 via Craigslist.

    After searching 100s of used vehicules on Car Max ~ eBay etc etc they were all either too expensive or with excessive mileage.

  As a Professional Photographer I appreciate good photos .... and Larry had the BEST photos which stopped me cold in my tracks ! I specifically wanted a nice used Audi TT ..... and the photos elegantly showcased a 2006 Audi TT in MINT condition inside & out plus it had low mileage and a very fair price 😊

  Unique Sport & Imports had a very nice & user friendly website.

  Larry and I negotiated over the phone as well as texting.Larry walked me through everything in detail plus arranged shipping.

  When the car came off of the truck I was in utter disbelief .... for it was more beautiful than I ever imagined ..... it was better than mint ! And the paint job was STUNNING ! The leather was also in mint condition and the engine was CLEAN .... and even the tires were like new .... plus the A/C was COLD and the sound system worked GREAT !

  My wife and I took it for a drive .... like nothing I've ever driven before !

  I wanted to bring the car inside our house ... but it wouldn't fit through the front doors 😊

First, I wanted to say sorry it has taken me so long to write this
well deserved letter to you. Second, I wanted to say thank you for the
purchase I made on the Black 2000 Viper RT/10. Not many people would
have allowed someone to take a car like that to have it checked out by
themselves. But you showed me trust like no other dealer would have.

I just wanted to tell you how happy we our with our Mercedes R-Class...The van drives great and we fit in it like a glove..After driving many different types of mercedes over the years this one is one of my favorites..Being a pre owned i was a little nervous about the the maintenance and up keep.
